Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Whole Cloves
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick or Strip of Orange Peel

Instructions
 

  • Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan.
  • Add whole cloves (and optional spices if using).
  • Heat over medium, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  • Simmer gently for 8–10 minutes to infuse flavor.
  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • Strain out spices and pour syrup into a clean jar.
  • Store in the fridge for 2–3 weeks or freeze in cubes.
