Spring Cocktails

Spring cocktails mean something lighter and refreshing. And it is finally time to ditch those heavy, dark cocktails. However, refreshing and light does not mean similar to summer cocktails; you should also enjoy the vibe of spring with specific cocktails that can speak to the season properly.

That is why I am about to discuss a few of my favorite spring cocktail recipes that you can make at home. And these will contain alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions too.

Spring Cocktails

Best Ingredients For Spring Cocktails

Surely what you have done in the winter does not get a similar vibe in the blooming season. So, in your cocktail, which you will enjoy outside instead of beside a fireplace, should have different ingredients than the usual winter drinks.

Since it is the spring season, I am sure you will get numerous herbs to enjoy in your cocktail. By saying that, you can add mint, basil, or even rosemary if you are feeling fancy. And they smell amazing and provide a bright vibe to your cocktail.

So, citrus is the obvious choice for any spring drink. However, do not use anything from the refrigerator that is stored over a month ago. If you want to get the proper vibe, you should enjoy that all the ingredients are freshly harvested.

Here’s what I’ve learned after making way too many spring drinks: you don’t need to hunt down some fancy lavender syrup from a boutique liquor store. Most of the best spring cocktail ingredients are sitting in your produce drawer right now.

Fresh mint from the grocery store works just as well as the stuff from your garden, and dried lavender from the spice aisle is perfectly fine for making syrup.

Easy Spring Cocktails for Parties

It is not those boring winter days that you can not enjoy any party outside, and enjoy the weather properly. Luckily, spring hits differently compared to any season. So, let’s see some of the lighter the refreshing cocktails that you can actually serve at your parties to bring out the perfect spring vibe at the party.

Lavender Gin Fizz Recipe

If you want something refreshing, yet with an elegant taste, this is the perfect drink for your party. What’s special about this drink is, it’s got a floral note that screams spring. Besides that, you don’t need a bartender’s degree to make this cocktail.

Ingredients

  • Fresh lemon juice
  • Lavender syrup 2 tablespoons
  • Botanical Gin
  • Raw egg white 1 tablespoon
  • Club Soda

Intrusctions

Step 1: First, fill your glass with ice and add 2 ozs of gin and 1 oz of fresh lemon juice.

Step 2: After that, pour lavender syrup, which should be half of your lemon juice.

Step 3: Add raw egg white and club soda untilthe  glass is full

Step 4: Finally, stir everything properly and serve

Cucumber Mint Mule

If you are a vodka lover, Moscow mule is surely a familiar name to you. And this cucumber mint mule is the spring version of that Moscow mule. And this is the perfect party drink for vodka lovers that can still want to taste spring.

To make this cocktail, first muddle some cucumber slices and mint leaves in the bottom of your glass. However, don’t muddle too much; whenever you get the flavor from it, add ice, then pour 2oz of vodka and 0.5 oz of lime juice into it. Now add some ginger beer and give it a gentle stir. And your cucumber mint mule is ready to drink.

This is one of the best spring signature cocktails that can let you enjoy a proper spring vibe and make the mood lightweight.

Strawberry Basil Lemonade

When you are talking about garden party drinks, you should have something non-alcoholic that can be chosen for under age or others who don’t want to consume alcohol. So, this strawberry basil lemonade can be the perfect choice for them.

First, take 1 cup of fresh strawberries and muddle them with basil leaves. After that, add 2oz of lemon juice and around 6oz of sparkling water into it. Also, you can add simple syrup to it. Finally, fill with ice and stir it gently.

Conclusion

Those were the quick spring cocktail recipes that you can enjoy at your party. So, there is nothing serious or special about the spring, except that you are adding all the fresh herbs into your drink. Therefore, you are getting the perfect seasonal cocktail.

However, I recommend not adding any artificial flavor to your drink in the spring season. There are many herbs around that can enhance your drinks’ flavor better than your regular artificial flavors.
